Based in Bentonville, AR, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment seeks a qualified individual to lead the category management team in the Bentonville office. Fox is a progressive employer seeking individuals who thrive in a team environment and are motivated by challenges. The Executive Director position will require a strong leadership quality and experienced management capabilities. There is a high degree of responsibility in running a dedicated team of category management professionals assisting Wal-Mart in managing a multi-billion dollar business. Work closely with retailers to increase sales volume and profitability, develop promotional opportunities, and execute retailer initiatives. You will need to develop a strategic analytical relationship with Wal-Mart in order to maximize movies department performance and deliver the optimal assortments to the Walmart customers.
We require a Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, MBA preferred. Minimum 10+ years experience; category management background is required. Management experience is mandatory. Knowledge of probability and statistics is desired. Ability to generalize and make logical assumptions based on reasonable samples for given business situations. Demonstrate strong follow-through, communication, prioritization and problem solving skills. Initiative, self-motivation, and a strong sense of urgency are essential.
